In this paper we consider control mechanisms for mobile devices in a stochastic environment. particular, device $n$ -dimensional space subject to Brownian perturbations where mechanism moves the towards its target location at speed which is function of displacement. For scenario, construct differential equations mobility process and solve steady state probability density From are able give general solutions key metrics such as displacement outage (the long term exceeding given distance from target), connectivity (derived SNR distribution Rayleigh channel with pathloss), mean time first exceeds target, kinetic energy required by mechanism. We evaluate these important special cases also study optimization problem minimizing over parameters function.
